CYCLE 9:

REMAINING NOMINATIONS:

 

CYCLE RULES:

-For this cycle, you will be nominating 8 queens of your choosing.

-The remaining four rankers will each cut one queen and save another.

-You have 30 minutes to get your write-up posted if you post your cut/save first. You are allowed one refresh, and it will extend your time to 15 additional minutes.

-After 18 hours, the nominator is allowed to stage a takeover. After an additional 9 hours, any nominator is free to stage a takeover.

-You will be allowed to nominate anyone who was saved in the previous round.

Following last year's iconic double crowning of Manila Luzon (S3) and Katya (AS2), the Drag Race Rankdown is back, back, back again for the shade of it all! Though we've said goodbye to Holi-Slay since none of us remember it, the remaining seasons from last year are joined by All Stars 4, Season 11 and the UK show! As always, there will be twists upon twists, strategy upon strategy, rose petals upon butterflies, until we crown IDF's Drag Superstar.

THE RULES:

-When it is your turn to nominate, you will post your nominations based off the rules for that round. You can nominate anyone who was saved in the previous round's nominations unless otherwise stated by me.

-You will have thirty minutes to post a write-up after making your cut and save. You are allowed one refresh, but if you use a refresh, your write-up must be posted within fifteen minutes or your picks are up for grabs and anyone can step in.

-After twenty-four hours, the nominator can stop in and make the final decision for any remaining options. After thirty-six hours, any ranker who has done their write-up for that round will be able to step in if the nominator hasn't made a decision.

-Thanks to IDF's handy GIPHY integration feature, I don't want to hear any excuses for picture-less write-ups.

-Queens who have appeared on multiple seasons will have each iteration of their appearance ranked. As such, if you are ranking any queen who has been on multiple seasons, you must specify which iteration you are talking about in your nominations. This rule still applies even if they only have one reiteration remaining.

-Anyone who eliminates Tatianna will get a strongly worded PM from moi.

The five of you will be helping us find IDF’s Next Drag Superstar! The rankdown will officially begin Monday, January 27. I haven’t decided on a time yet, owing to the fact that you’re all in different time zones, but it isn’t a time sensitive format.

 

Before I announce the format for the first rule, you will all need to PM two drag queens of your choosing that are in this rankdown. I will not be revealing why until I have all the names.

 

To make it easier to communicate with me going toward, you can each just use the threads you sent me your applications in if you still have it, so that all our rankdown communications is easy to access. But this is up to you.
